About the Conference

The hybrid AicE-Bs2026Sokcho (14th Asia-Pacific International Conference on Environment-Behaviour Studies) a formal, peer-reviewed international scientific proceedings event marked the 54th international conference to be organized by AMER (Association of Malaysian Environment-Behaviour Researchers), Hosted by KDU Global Research Center, Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global), Sokcho, South Korea, and in collaboration with Kulliyyah of Sustainable Tourism and Contemporary Languages, International Islamic University Malaysia. it was held at KDU Global Research Center, Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global), Sokcho, South Korea, on 04-06 Jun 2026. The conference operates as a strictly audited scholarly assembly. It was managed by emAs (AMER Event Management & Services), Malaysia.
The primary output of this conference is the publication of Vol. 11 No. 37 (Jun 2026) of the Environment-Behaviour Proceedings Journal (E-BPJ) [eISSN 2398-4287], with each accepted paper allocated a permanent, cross-referenced Crossref Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for robust index tracking and archival stability.

Focus of the Conference

The scientific focus of this conference is strictly bounded within the multidisciplinary discipline of Environment-Behaviour Studies (EBS) and Environmental Psychology. The event advances Environment-Behaviour Studies by focusing on macro-level Asia-Pacific regional dynamics.
To ensure clear thematic coherence and prevent programmatic drift, all submissions must present empirical or theoretical advancements directly isolating human behavioral adaptations, spatial experiences, or human-environment dynamics within one of six permanent research taxonomy tracks:

Track 1 (Smart Technology & Digital Behavioral Environments): Focuses on regulatory policy frameworks for digital healthcare platforms, socio-cultural counter-narratives within digital communication networks, and technological dynamics shaping informal digital learning environments.

Track 2 (Socio-Economic, Management & Public Policy Environments): Covers cross-cultural institutional partnerships, managerial competency modeling for sustainable asset performance, and the integration of professional ethics within contemporary organizational frameworks.

Track 3 (Built Environment, Spatial Design & Spatial Infrastructure): Examines comparative pedestrian experiences in commercial mixed-use developments, urban design parameters, and cross-regional structural paradoxes within macro housing crises.

Track 4 (Social, Cultural & Community Interaction Environments): Investigates creative community engagement, local art movements, and socio-cultural interactions inside contemporary public exhibition spaces.

Track 5 (Human Development, Spatial Education & Physical Wellbeing): Analyzes behavioral chrononutrition related to clinical diseases, age-friendly ecological parameters in rural public zones, digital caregiver training interfaces, and spatial health vulnerabilities within informal settlements.

Track 6 (Sustainability, Energy & Natural Cognitive Environments): Addresses spatial-temporal environmental vulnerability mapping using geospatial methodologies and thermal-spatial building strategies for climate adaptation in rural dwellings.

Strict Content Exclusion Barriers
The Editorial Board enforces a strict desk-exclusion policy to reject submissions that do not explicitly evaluate human behavior or localized environment-behaviour variables.

Purpose of Participants Congregating at the Event

The strategic purpose of this assembly is to facilitate macro-level Asia-Pacific regional dynamics, academic verification, establish empirical baselines for environment-behaviour trends, and enforce the rigorous double-blind peer evaluation pipeline required of international indexing standards.
By gathering international researchers across the Asia-Pacific region, spatial practitioners, and institutional scholars, the event provides a verifiable forum to present peer-reviewed findings, debate methodological rigor across regional case studies, and fulfill international geographic diversity mandates intended to reduce regional institutional isolation and elevate global citation standards.
To fulfill the rigorous international citation and geographic distribution benchmarks required by Clarivate Analytics, all submissions originating from Malaysian institutions must feature a minimum of one international co-author based permanently at an institution outside of Malaysia. Submissions that do not comply with this co-authorship structure will fail initial desk screening and will be excluded from the peer review pipeline.

Scholarly Metadata & Indexing Disclosure

Publication Architecture Cross-Reference:
All accepted and registered papers from this event will be published in the peer-reviewed Environment-Behaviour Proceedings Journal (E-BPJ) (eISSN 2398-4287), specifically compiled within Volume 11, Number 37 (Jun 2026). Each standalone manuscript will receive a unique Crossref Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and permanent sequential pagination to support tracking integrity.

Technical Formatting Infrastructure:
To align with global content processing systems, all manuscripts must feature full front matter, abstracts, author keywords, institutional affiliations, and cited reference lists compiled entirely in Roman script. Submissions failing to meet basic citation rendering blocks will be excluded from production.

Clarivate Web of Science Core Collection Status:
In strict accordance with the independent selection parameters of the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), each annual volume is subjected to an isolated editorial audit by Clarivate Analytics. The organizers make no premature guarantees of coverage; upon final volume release, the complete metadata record and peer-review trail will be formally submitted for independent evaluation under Clarivate quality benchmarks.

Your Abstract must be approved first, before you are invited via email to submit your full paper

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
a) The abstract template must be used in full compliance as per the instructions in the template.
b) The language used must be in the English Language.
c) To be included in the submission are the Conference Registration Form, Publishing Agreement and the non-refundable Abstract Fees
d) All submission must be emailed to the Conference Secretariat (emasemasresources@gmail.com), and also uploaded to the E-BPJ platform under the section “Abstract: AicE-Bs2026Sokcho, 04-06 Jun 2026”. You need to Register first before you are able to Login to the E-BPJ, as provided below.

Approved Abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book (eISBN 978-1-913576-23-3).

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION
Upon your abstract being approved, you will receive the full paper template for the full paper submission, together with further instructions.
a) The full paper template must be used in full compliance as per the instructions in the template.
b) The language used must be in the English Language.
c) Turnitin score must be less than 15%.
d) Ensure paper submissions together with the Registration Fees are emailed to the Secretariat and uploaded to the E-BPJ platform with the correct event code reference “Full Paper: AicE-Bs2026Sokcho, 04-06 Jun 2026“.

Full Paper Submission Deadline: Earlybird 06 May 2026; Final 13 May 2026.

AMENDED FULL PAPER SUBMISSION FOR FINAL PUBLICATION
Your full paper submitted will go through the double-blind peer review stage to be reviewed by our International Scientific Committee. The comments will be emailed to you. You need to submit your amended paper (based on those reviews) and the Author’s Amendment Notification duly signed, for the final publication,

Amended Full Paper Submission Deadline: 17 Jun 2026

All finalized fees are due post-acceptance to clear the paper for typesetting and Crossref DOI minting. Payment of Publication Fees must be made latest together with the submission of the amended paper.

Upon final publication, the complete volume will be formally submitted to Clarivate Analytics for independent editorial evaluation under CPCI quality benchmarks.
