Academic Coherence, Scientific Focus & Peer Review Statement

The primary objective of this event is to advance the multidisciplinary discipline of Environment-Behaviour Studies (EBS) and Environmental Psychology, focusing strictly on the localized socio-cultural, urban, and ecological variables native to the Asian region.

We investigate how environment-behaviour interactions directly dictate human Quality of Life (QoL) across rapidly evolving Asian landscapes. The volume is organized strictly into six permanent research taxonomy tracks covering digital behavioral environments, socio-economic spaces, spatial design, community interactions, physical wellbeing, and natural cognitive environments.

Rigorous Pre-Conference Peer Review Audit Trail:
In strict compliance with international indexing parameters, all papers compiled within this volume underwent a comprehensive, multi-stage evaluation pipeline finalized prior to the conference dates:

1. Initial Desk Screening & Integrity Check: All submissions were screened for strict scope alignment and filtered through Turnitin software to enforce a rigid sub-30% similarity threshold.
2. Manual Double-Blind Peer Evaluation: Anonymized manuscripts clearing desk checks were independently vetted by a minimum of two expert reviewers from our International Scientific Committee across 7 core quality metrics. This entire workflow was executed manually over secure, timestamped institutional email networks to preserve absolute anonymity.
3. Verifiable Archives: The editorial desk maintains complete, timestamped digital archives of all reviewer invitations, score matrices, and author revision logs in our secure institutional repository as a verifiable audit trail.

Strict Content Exclusion Barriers:
To maintain sharp thematic focus, the volume summarily excludes purely technical material testing, raw engineering computations, macroeconomic indicators, or commercial marketing strategies that fail to explicitly isolate and evaluate human behavior or regional QoL variables.

Paper presenters are allowed to either present F2F or virtually. However, only those who present F2F shall be in the running for the Best Paper awards.

e-IPH, UK shall publish both the Abstract Book (eISBN 978-1-913576-22-6) and the Proceeding in the E-BPJ (Environment-Behaviour Proceedings Journal), eISSN 2398-4287, 11(36) Apr 2026 issue.
Prior to 2026, the E-BPJ has been automatically indexed in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science (WoS). However, commencing 2026, an updated criteria on indexing has been imposed by Clarivate Analytics, whereby the E-BPJ shall not be automatically WoS-indexed. Nevertheless, the E-BPJ will still need to be published and sent to them for possible indexing.
Extended versions of the selected papers shall be published as freely accessible articles, online, in our other international journals – ajE-Bs or jABs, @ no publication charges.

Continuing with our Game Changer 2021 initiative, #GC2021 – only internationally-authored (for Malaysians) papers shall be considered for publications in the Proceedings (E-BPJ), and in our other two international journals.

(* At least one of the authors must be from abroad; Failing which, a 100% additional surcharge of the published Registration Fees shall apply. Those from abroad must not be Malaysians, nor non-Malaysians studying/working in Malaysia. The co-author from abroad must also not co-authored in another paper Failing which all the papers they co-authored will be disqualified in the running for the Best Paper awards).

SUBMISSION PROCEDURES

The following Submission Procedures must be strictly adhered.

Your Abstract must be approved first, before you are invited via email to submit your full paper

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
a) The abstract template must be used in full compliance as per the instructions in the template.
b) The language used must be in the English Language. It must attain a Score of minimum 90% and plagiarism of maximum 15% based on Grammarly. Grammarly setting to be: Academic; Report).
c) To be included in the submission are the Conference Registration Form, Publishing Agreement and the non-refundable Abstract Fees
All submission must be emailed to the Conference Secretariat (emasemasresources@gmail.com), and also uploaded to the E-BPJ platform under the section “Abstract: AcE-Bs2026Kuching, 27-28 Mar 2026”. You need to Register first before you are able to Login to the E-BPJ, as provided below.

Approved Abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book (eISBN 978-1-913576-22-6).

Upon your abstract being approved, you will receive the full paper template for the full paper submission, together with further instructions.

Full Paper Submission Deadline: Earlybird 25 Feb 2026; Final 04 Mar 2026.

AMENDED FULL PAPER SUBMISSION FOR FINAL PUBLICATION
Your full paper submitted will go through the double-blind peer review stage to be reviewed by our International Scientific Committee. The comments will be emailed to you. You need to submit your amended paper based on those reviews for final publication,

Upon the final publication, the Proceedings will be sent to Clarivate Analytics for possible WoS-indexing.
